“Brevity is the soul of wit.”

This week,I was absent in the English Literature Lesson, because my doctor said to me need an endoscopic examination on account of my ilness. I caught the last ten minutes of lesson,so I could see only the last page of slide. “For Sale : Baby Shoes,Never Worn.”  When I saw this sentence,it was very intrigued.

I searched this sentence inquisitorially and I had some information about this. Actually, this sentence is a six-word story written by Ernest Hemingway. The baby shoes story was referred to as a "short-short" story, but the general idea of trying to tell a story with minimum words is now known by the term of flash fiction or sudden fiction. Flash fiction is a style of fantastic literature and fiction of extreme brevity.

When I searched more and more,I came across some “short-short” stories. I want to share some of them.

“Failed SAT. Lost scholarship. Invented rocket.” By William Shatner

“Sorry ,love : Heartbreak is more interesting.” Anonymous

“Cellar?”
“Gate to,uh…
hell,actually.” By Ronald D. Moore

“Two wives, one funeral, no tears.” By Desrio

“Buried in a steel casket. Immortal.” By Gen

“First heartbreak. Nineteen years wishing. Reunited!” By James Robson

“Tanline on his ring finger? Goodbye.” By Ruby

“Disputes between nations. Sorrow among families.” By Peter

When I am ending up my reflection paper,I want to say last thing summarising composition wholly. “Brevity is the soul of wit.”
